FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
R·O·M Corporation Introduces Waterproof LED Lightbar
BELTON, MO (April 2010) --
The LED V3 Lightbar is designed to be waterproof to IPX7 rating, meaning it can be used as a compartment lighting solution or in exterior locations. Exceeding NFPA 1901 Standard 2009, the LED V3 Lightbar provides fixed lumen output across 9 VDC to 16 VDC, and draws just 0.22 amps/foot at 12.8 VDC. The 16 LED diodes per foot produce a bright 112 lumens.

"We then spent the past year surveying the industry and working with engineers at emergency vehicle OEMs to create a waterproof, modular lightbar that meets the rigorous demands of our customers -- and is priced right for them."
Touchton says the heart of the system is 6- and 12-inch modular components that snap together to form one-piece continuous lighting up to 96 inches (which can be extended by adding end block terminals). He says the system is easy to install and repair without having to remove track or other system components. The system features a streamlined optic lens and lower profile to help eliminate damage. The LED modules snap into an integrated roll-up door track or are pre-installed in an anodized aluminum track for mounting as stand-alone units.
In addition to LED lighting,
