Tested Tough
In the following comparative tests with competing bulkheads, LoadMaker outperformed the competition.
Taber Abrasion. Simulates normal wear and tear on a bulkhead. The LoadMaker system proved to have a significantly greater life expectancy than competing products, which results in the lowest cost over the product’s life.
Flexural Strength. Indicates a bulkhead’s structural integrity after repeated impact. The LoadMaker was the only one to remain uniform in strength. This prevents sagging and ensures consistent perimeter seals over the life of the product.
Load Deflection. Measures the bulkhead’s resistance to impact and its ability to recover afterwards. The LoadMaker system was the only one that could return to its original shape after repeated impact from forklifts and pallets.
Temperature Integrity. Measures cold side vs. warm side bulkhead temperatures. Temperature transference is minimized with the LoadMaker, allowing food products to be delivered at their specified temp.
Fuel consumption. Measures gallons of fuel the reefer uses to cool a trailer. Refrigeration units operating with the LoadMaker operate more efficiently, requiring less fuel and maintenance.
