ISO 9001 Certification

After an extensive audit from TUV Management Service -- one of the largest management systems registrars in North America, Europe and Asia -- R·O·M achieved ISO 9001 registration for its Quality Management System.

The certification culminated a year-long effort of developing process documentation, quality management system development and documentation, and employee training toward the ISO 9001 registration. The work is an ongoing rocess to continuously improve R-O-M's QMS, products and services, and TUV will monitor the company’s adherence to ISO 9001 standards through periodic surveillance audits.

ISO 9001 recognizes the importance of the process approach to management, which is the systematic identification and management of the various "inputs" received within an organization and how they are converted into "outputs." This process approach, and the recognition of the interactions between the many inputs and outputs of an organization, then serves as a means of readily identifying and managing opportunities for continual improvement.
