Manufacturing Manager
R·O·M Corporation is currently seeking an innovative and energetic Manufacturing Manager for our Belton, MO location. This person will lead the development of all production personnel. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience implementing process improvement techniques, quality programs, 5S, lean manufacturing, TQM, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM and cellular manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership for Manufacturing Supervisors, Leads and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Manage manufacturing operations to optimize customer service, quality and productivity.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, orderly and productive facility.
- Continuously improve manufacturing operations as indicated by operational metrics.
- Responsible for the layout, storage and movement of materials throughout the production facility.
The Manufacturing Manager will work with R&D, Purchasing, Sales and others as appropriate for product enhancements, new product development and manufacturing process improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations management or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management. A stable and progressive work history along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
